Lake area man faces prison after hiding a body

A Rocky Mount man could spend four years in prison after admitting to a abandoning a dead body. Darrell Willis admits to helping hide the body of Joanna Anderson in a 55 – gallon drum after she vanished in 2016. Willis told detectives he and Anderson’s husband, Steven Swon hid her body after she died during a domestic dispute. Swon, who allegedly paid Willis for his help, has since died.
