Inmates caught in escape attempt at JCCC prison

The ‘J – Triple – C’ prison was on lockdown Wednesday after staff prevented an apparent escape attempt. No one was able to get out of the maximum security prison south of Jefferson City. Two inmates are being held in connection with the incident at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. No one was hurt.
