Man dumps kid along the road before he runs from Callaway cops

Callaway County authorities have arrested the man who they say left a small child on the side of the road and led them on a chase. Kevin Jones was arrested after deputies finally tracked him down Saturday night at a home in a rural area northwest of Fulton. Investigators say Jones was pulled over west of Williamsburg late Friday. He allegedly removed the little kid from the car during the traffic stop and took off. The deputy stayed with the child, who was not hurt.
