One victim dead in overnight JCMO shooting

A man is dead after an overnight Jefferson City shooting. Police say they’re investigating the incident that happened in the 200 block of Dawson Street around 9:30 last (tues) night. Officers spotted a speeding car on East McCarty. Inside they found a shooting victim and four others. He died after being taken to University Hospital. Investigators say the other three in the car are cooperating with the investigation.
