Sheriff calls shots fired incident a bad drug ripoff

Several suspects face charges after shots are fired during a drug robbery. Cole County deputies were called to the home in the 5600 block of Scherr Drive in the Westview Heights area late Wednesday. Shots had been fired both inside and outside the home during an attempted theft of marijuana. Three suspects were arrested at the scene. A fourth was picked up yesterday. All four could face robbery and firearms charges.
