New CEO at SSM St. Marys

SSM St Marys Hospital has a new president. Mike Baumgartner took over the role this month at St Marys facilities in both Jefferson City and Mexico. Baumgartner has headed up SSM St Francis Hospital in Maryville. The move comes along with talks about the M-U health system buying both Mid-Missouri hospitals.

There’s now an organized Jefferson City group fighting the sale.
