Police Reports Surrounding Columbia Death to Be Released to Victim’s Family

Police reports regarding a death at a Columbia Waffle House are released to the victims’ family. A Boone County judge granted the request today for the family of Anthony Warren to obtain the reports. Warren was shot at the Waffle House last year by Robert Moses, a security guard. Moses claimed he feared for his safety when the shooting happened because two other men had been fighting over a gun. Another man, Matthew McMillan, has been charged for disposing of the gun in question from the struggle that preceded Warren’s death. Warren’s family filed a wrongful death suit in January of last year.
