Projected Forecast Could Cause School Closings

Local schools monitor this week’s forecast and may even cancel classes. Temperatures tomorrow and Wednesday morning are expected to drop below zero with wind chills dipping into the negative double digits. Many schools, including Columbia Public Schools, closed last January due to negative wind chills.
