What’s the status of the falling – down buildings in downtown Jefferson City? The structure at the corner of High and Madison partially collapsed back in June. But it was shored up and still stands. Now three buildings between 200 and 204 East High are in danger of collapse. But the owners of two of the buildings are in court over who will pay for a planned demolition. City officials say they plan to move ahead with tearing down the corner building themselves. The buildings date to the late 1800’s.
