A mixed bag of winter weather for you tonight

KMIZ – ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather — Snow is expected to move in from the south, spreading to the north from late Tuesday afternoon through the evening with snow accumulating into the overnight hours. Minor accumulation is possible by 10 PM and with temperatures below freezing, roads could become slick. By 10 PM accumulation could up to 1″-1.5″ Snow  is expected to change to freezing rain in the Ozarks by midnight with freezing rain and freezing drizzle becoming more likely farther north with time. Through this event, most areas northwest of Boone County precip stay as snowfall, where as places south of Columbia will see more of a changeover to the wintry mix early Wednesday. Precipitation will be light by Wednesday morning with freezing drizzle and light snow ending by noon.
