Accused embezzler admits to JCMO thefts

A Jefferson City woman could spend decades in prison after admitting to embezzling thousands of dollars from her employer. 47 – year old Laura Winge admits to taking more than $65,000 from Turks Construction and Pools Unlimited where she worked as the bookkeeper for 6 years. She’s accused of taking the money from employee accounts and writing herself unauthorized pay checks.
