Moniteau County Sheriff Fires Two Due to Facebook Posts

The Moniteau County Sheriff has fired two employees because of posts on their Facebook accounts. Sheriff Tony Wheatley says he learned about the posts by jailer Dillon Davenport and Lieutenant Kevin Morse on Saturday. They’ve both been let go. Sheriff Wheatley did not go too in-depth about the posts, but said they were jokes made in poor taste. He’s apologized to anyone affected.
