Embattled JCPS staffer is fired

A Jefferson City school system employee at the center of a lawsuit with the district has been fired. The board took the action Friday against Tammy Ferry. Ferry is accused of copying and transferring student information files into a personal folder. The district also claimed Ferry violated terms of her paid leave. She says she’ll appeal.
