An Illinois man now faces charges of taking a stolen SUV across state lines after a bomb scare in Holts Summit last Friday. 45 – year old Jerry Lee Banks was stopped in Holts Summit after being spotted driving erratically. Officers found drugs and items they thought could be used to make a bomb in the car. Officers spent hours on the scene with a bomb squad. They now say Banks shows signs of mental illness.
