A cold finish to the work week. Wind chills will be well below zero this (thur) morning and tomorrow (fri) morning, with gusts up near 30 miles an hour. Jefferson City saw 2 – 3 inches. Columbia Regional Airport recorded two inches of snow yesterday (wed). There were several local accidents, but no reports of serious injuries or deaths. MoDot says major roads are clear until you start going north of I-70. Columbia Public Schools is one of the districts closed today (thur). Jefferson City is one of those starting late.
