Cole County has the busiest Associate Circuit courtroom in the state. Municipal Judge Brian Stumpe won the GOP primary to be on the November ballot to potentially become the county’s second Associate judge …     

Stumpe will take on Democrat Scott Evans in the general election. The biggest challenge is that there are only four courtrooms in the courthouse. The new court would begin hearing cases January 1^st.
