Another ‘Eric’ joins the Blunt replacement race

Another high-profile “Eric” is in the race for U.S. Senate in Missouri. Republican state Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced on Fox News he’s running.

Schmitt and former governor Eric Greitens are among those now in the mix on the GOP side in 2022. Greitens announced his candidacy this week. Senator Roy Blunt announced this month he is not seeking re-election.
