A shake up in Missouri’s State Health Department

Missouri’s health director steps down. Governor Parson announced yesterday (tue) that Doctor Randall Williams has resigned from the top spot at the Department of Health and Senior Services. Williams has served as director since 2017 and helped lead the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. Parson has appointed his deputy chief of staff, Robert Knodell as acting health director. Knodell does not have a medical background.
