One more thing to worry about while you’re deer hunting

The deer you kill this fall may get tested for more than just chronic wasting disorder. Missouri Conservation’s Aaron Jeffries says COVID has shown up in deer in Illinois, Michigan and in a couple other states …    

The USDA report shows that although deer were carrying the antibodies, none of them actually got sick. There is no evidence of deer dying or humans contracting the coronavirus from eating venison. Some Missouri deer taken this season will be tested.
