A water rescue at JCMO’s Noren Access

ABC – 17 — Two women were pulled from the Missouri River at the Noren access Wednesday, according to Jefferson City firefighters.

The two were in a tandem kayak before they needed rescue, firefighters said.

One person was taken by ambulance to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A man at the scene who identified himself as the kayakers’ friend said the two were training for a race.
