Ashland Rep. weighs in on food stamp debate

Sara Walsh is a big “NO” if she’s asked to allow food stamp recipients to be able to use those benefits at restaurants. Senators have sent the House a bill allowing elderly, disabled and homeless folks to let them get meals at restaurants …  The Ashland State Rep. is running for Vicky Hartzler’s Congressional seat. She also opposes the Missouri bills seeking to expand sports gambling in the state. Lawmakers have to finalize the state budget this week. They adjourn May 13th.
