Threat forces lock down at Blair Oaks – new information from Cole Sheriff

There’s new information on what prompted a lock down at the Blair Oaks schools in Wardsville Tuesday. Cole County Sheriff John Wheeler says they were called to the school around 10:30am and placed students and staff on lock down. They found two students had been talking on a bus Monday and allegedly made comments about committing violent acts. The two were taken to the Juvenile Attention Center. No weapons were found and administrators say there was no danger to anyone.
