Cole EMS treats patients at train wreck

Cole County ambulance crews assist with the train derailment. SEMA officials asked Cole County EMS and several other agencies to respond to the Monday derailment. Cole County sent two ambulances, 6 EMT’s and paramedics along with the department’s chief and a doctor to the scene. They treated patients at Mendon High School.
