Special JC Council meeting tonight

A special Jefferson City Council meeting is on tap tonight to address a potential pay raise. The Council tabled a vote on a plan to give city staff a 5 percent raise last week. Bill sponsor Councilman Erin Wiseman wasn’t at last week’s meeting. Approval could okay the raise for some 300 Jefferson City government workers.
