More discussion of JCMO city govt. pay raise

This may be the night when Jefferson City – city government workers get a pay raise. Mayor Carrie Tergin expects the Council will vote on a proposed 5 – percent hike for city employees …

The Council has tabled the plan without voting on it at previous meetings. The raise would target about 300 – staff. The move won’t affect the police department. They received a separate boost funded by a public safety tax that passed last November.
