New system could get you an ambulance in a hurry

The plan is to speed up response times for Cole County ambulances. Commissioners okay spending about $125,000 for a new 9-1-1 dispatch system for Cole County EMS. It will be funded by ARPA money the county received. The new system could reduce response times by streamlining the call – in process.
