Man killed after being hit by a train in JCMO

Jefferson City Police now confirm that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train Tuesday morning. The accident happened on the Union Pacific tracks inside the city limits. Police Lt. Dave Williams says they have not identified the male victim. The Tuesday accident tied up train traffic for several hours.
