Contractor is working on Cole County diesel spill

Environmental crews from Springfield are wrapping up a clean up on a Cole County creek on Lincoln U’s Busby farm that was contaminated with diesel fuel earlier this week. The crew will now remove contaminated soil. About 800 gallons of diesel leaked from a line at the Cole County Public Works complex along Highway 54 south of Jefferson City.
