Woman accused in JCMO child’s death has a hearing

Lawyers for a woman accused of killing a little boy in her care are trying to have her declared incompetent to stand trial. Quatavia Givens is accused in the death of 4 – year old Darnell Gray who she was babysitting at the time of his disappearance in 2018. His body was found days later in a shallow grave. Givens lawyers attended a competency hearing this week.
