Bad car crash east of JCMO

Two people are badly injured in a crash near the National Guard training site east of Jefferson City. The accident happened on Highway 50 at Militia Drive. A car driven by Kenneth Bleigh of Chamois ran into a stopped car driven by Jerry Petershagen of Jefferson City Thursday. Bleigh and his passenger had serious injuries. Petershagen was treated at the scene. The crash tied up traffic for an hour.
