Settlement in JCMO man’s death lawsuit

A settlement has been reached in the wrongful death case of a Jefferson City man. Jasen Smith died after a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater near St. Louis in 2019 when he was hit in the head with a chair as crews were cleaning up after the event. Terms of the settlement against promoter Live nation were not made public.
