JCMO man accused in knife incident

A Jefferson City man faces assault charges he is accused of pulling a knife on a man who came on his door.

45 – year old Julius Leonard is charged with attempted assault and weapons charges. The victim told police he’d gone to Leonard’s Schroeder Way home looking for his girlfriend. He then left with the woman. Leonard claimed the victim tried to attack him, but a witness says Leonard threatened the victim.
