Cole Sheriff says a phone scam is making the rounds

If you’ve had a call recently that appeared to be from your bank it might have been scammers. Cole County Sheriff John Wheeler says people have received calls that show up on caller i-d as being from a bank. The caller then asks for your personal information.

If you get a call, hang up and call your bank.
