Juvenile shot in JCMO neighborhood

Several juveniles are in custody after another juvenile is shot last Friday night in Jefferson City. Police were called to the 600 block of Ohio Street and found the victim and the suspects. The victim had to flown to the hospital. There’s no word on a condition.

(AP) — Health officials said Saturday that they had identified what is likely to be the first case of monkeypox in Missouri. Officials said the probable case of monkeypox was found in a Kansas City resident who had recently traveled out of state. That person didn’t need to be hospitalized.
