Better JCMO teacher pay on the way

Entry – level teachers in the Jefferson City School District will see more on pay day. The School Board votes to add $1300 to the base salary. That’s the biggest hike in 15 years. The 2024 budget was approved this week. It includes funding for several projects, including a new early childhood center.
