Cole County EMS recognized for heart and stroke care

Cole County EMS has been honored for their stroke and heart attack care. The agency received the American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline EMS Silver achievement award. And since bringing a new 911 dispatch system online, Cole EMS has also be able to reduce response times for patients needing care. Their response times now exceed the national standard by about 5%.
