Jefferson City councilmen sign off on the proposed developer for a downtown hotel – conference center project. Garfield Public / Private LLC has built similar properties in Texas.
The Jefferson City project would include a hotel with an attached conference center and a new parking garage. The complex would be built in the next block up from the Governor’s Mansion.
Garfield is the firm that proposed a conference center back in 2009. That project wasn’t approved.
