JCMO yard waste site won’t move across the river

Jefferson City councilmen turn thumbs down on a plan to contract with a yard waste site across the Missouri River. Councilmen voted unanimously not to contract with Korte (kor-tee) Enterprises for the site in North Jefferson City. City leaders expressed concerns that work on the bridge could complicate using the site. Councilmen say they’ll look at extending the current contract for All Season’s Landscape.
