Dangerous heat is on tap for most of the week. Highs are expected to be at least in the upper 90’s each day and a heat index topping 105 – to – 110 or higher.
A heat dome is stalled out over the Midwest and states from Iowa south to Louisiana and Texas are under heat warnings.
