Only minor injuries in JCMO rush hour crash

Two drivers escaped with only minor injuries after a Wednesday morning Jefferson City crash. Police say a car was going west at the Highway 50 – Whitton Expressway at Missouri Blvd intersection around 8am. The driver ran into the back of a pickup, sending it across the median. The truck then hit two more cars. One of those vehicles hit a fifth car. The accident tied up traffic for about a half hour.
