Remnants of the old Missouri River bridge at Rocheport are still in the river after the bridge was blown up Sunday morning.
Mo-Dot and the contractor Lunda Construction had 24 hours to open up a channel for boat and barge traffic.
But MoDOT now says the cleanup will take longer.
