A young Cole County man who’s facing charges after the shooting death of his girlfriend sees his trial delayed.
Joshua Wilbers is charged with manslaughter of Hallie Phillips.
His attorney asked for a delay to look over lab reports and find an expert witness for the trial.
The judge set Wilbers’ next appearance for December 28.
