Former Sheriff’s Deputy Faces Sex Charges

A former Sheriff’s deputy faces charges of first-degree sodomy and sexual abuse. Matthew Hutchings, who was a deputy in Gasconade County, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman her met online. The assault supposedly happened in her home while he was on duty. He has resigned from her deputy position and is being held in the Osage County Jail.
