Big plans for old shoe factory next to MSP prison

A planned redevelopment at Jefferson City’s old international Shoe Factory is on the way. The Council gave approval this week for a developer to build at ‘fun factory’ and apartments at the site just east of the old MSP prison. The Oregon – based firm plans to have a restaurant, mini golf, and even axe throwing lanes on the first floor with apartments on the upper levels. The old factory has stood since the 1800’s.
