A former mid-Missouri prosecutor loses his license to practice law. Former Moniteau County Prosecuting Attorney Shayne Healea’s license has been revoked indefinitely after a ruling brought down by the State Supreme Court yesterday. Healea had pled guilty to four misdemeanors after he crashed into a restaurant in downtown Columbia, injuring four people. After the crash, he fled the scene. He can reapply for his law license in six months.

Ridiculous. Meanwhile in neighboring county prosecuting attorney had clear conflict of interest in determining if charges should be filed but did not recuse himself. Then judge refused to address/resolve an issue that mo law specifically States is their responsibility and grants them the authority to address. Collecting a paycheck from citizens while refusing to carry out their obligations.
