A warrant has been issued for a California, Missouri man after a standoff with law enforcement in Moniteau County. 22-year-old Dalton Fisher was evading police through Moniteau County just after midnight Monday when he attempted to cross a low-water area. His vehicle flooded, he jumped out, and turned toward the deputy in a shooting stance when ordered to show his hands. The deputy fired at him and he ran away. He led police on a chase through the water, prompting a K-9 unit to join in the hunt. He’s still not been found. In his vehicle, police found meth and meth paraphernalia, a fully loaded AR-15, and a loaded 12 gauge.
