Two drug busts in Mid-Missouri

An overnight meth arrest lands a Jefferson City man back in jail. Patrick Lutz was picked up early yesterday (sun) morning while deputies were investigating possible trespassing on Autumn Ridge Drive near Holts Summit. They say they found meth where Lutz was arrested. Lutz pleaded guilty to drug and stealing charges in 2014.

A Highway Patrol K9 is getting a pat on the head for his work on I-70 over the weekend. Troopers say they made a traffic stop Saturday afternoon on the interstate in Cooper County. Their drug dog sniffed out 115 pounds of marijuana. The driver, Zechariah Heryford from the state of California, was arrested.
