Area Senator Calls Out NCAA

The Missouri senator representing Columbia joins the masses in speaking out against the NCAA’s penalties against Mizzou. Senator Caleb Rowden spoke on the Senate floor, claiming inconsistencies in the organization’s punishment techniques, the latest of which he says could cause the university to lose over $10 million. The NCAA handed down punishment last week, banning multiple sports from postseason play for a year and placing substantial recruitment and scholarship limits on the programs.
