Hallsville School District Setttles Wrongful Death Lawsuit

The Hallsville school district has settled a wrongful death lawsuit with the mother of a student who committed suicide. Elizabeth Overstreet claimed in her suit that her daughter, Rylie Wagner, killed herself in 2017 because of bullying within the Hallsville district. The settlement announced yesterday (mon) in federal court is for a confidential amount of money.
