Hawley Investigation Ends

The investigation against Josh Hawley comes to a close. That’s according to Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, who says his office couldn’t find any evidence to back up allegations that Hawley used public resources as the attorney general to help his Senate campaign. In Missouri, public officials cannot use taxpayer resources for any personal benefit, including campaign funding. The investigation began after a complaint by a liberal group in November of 2018.
